This was one of the prizes from the Altador Plot, which I completed the day after the final clue went live. We've been waiting a long time for this one!! To get your prizes and avatar, you need to visit the King each new Neopian day.
As I completed the entire plot, I received a gold trophy, new Altador sidebar, the avatar (on the 2nd day), 5000nps and the following prizes, as well as random items and neopoints from the King on days 3 and 4 - may be more items to receive each day - keep checking back with the King to find out :)
